Judge flips coin, makes woman drop pants
"A judge who ordered a woman to drop her pants and decided a custody dispute by flipping a coin was removed from the bench by the Virginia Supreme Court on Friday." This is from an Associated Press article by Larry O'Dell about Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court Judge James Michael Shull of Gate City.
I have to ask, why? Not why did the judge do this, but why did that get him removed? Flipping a coin gives the judge at least a 50 percent chance of making a good decision. And from what we've seen of the U. S. Court, that's unusually good odds.
And as for having the woman drop her pants in court...why stop there? In court, aren't you supposed to reveal the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth? What are clothes but a deception--outfits covering scars and tattoos, bras remolding breasts, waistbands hiding bellies, etc. Why don't they make everybody in court drop their pants, and everything else? If nothing else, it would make being in court more fun.

I'm not dropping my pants for any judge. He should be arrested for sexual harrassment!

I know Reverend Loveshade is kidding but that's terrible! And then he doesn't even get in any trouble he just loses his job.
If a teacher did something like that everybody would be after him and he might even get arrested. But if it's a judge or a cop they'll do nothing. It's totally not fair!

You expect the laws to be fair? Laws are for the power of the state not for the rights of the individual. Maybe it was that way one time, but no more.

That's my kind of judge. As long as he does judge in my town. Maybe he should go judge cased in Iraq?

Flip a coin and drop your pants. Is this a raal judge or a Saturday Night Live sketch?

I'm with you. Any judge who makes woman drop their pants in court gets my vote. Maybe we could get Discordian American Princess Miley Ray Cyrus in court, eh?
