Teach Your Kids To Break The Rules
Yes, it may sound like a bit of strange advice, but it's true.
Children who always follow the rules, who do what they're told, can grow up sadly unprepared for the realities of life. Not all rules are good, and not all good rules are good all the time.
And those who continue to follow the rules are the same people who support oppressive and unfair regimes. They are also the people who are oppressed by such regimes.
While we don't necessarily agree with everything in Craig Playstead's article, you might want to check it out at http://lifestyle.msn.com/your-life/family-parenting/article.aspx?cp-documentid=16949831.

I don't know about telling your kids to pee in the woods. That might bring child protective services, or the police to arrest your kids for indecent exposure.

I knew a boy in my high school who always followed the rules. He's serving 20 years in prison. And he'll stay there for 20 years cuz that's the rules!

You want to bring up kids to be disobedient? Go for it. Just don't expect me to do that with my kids.

Teaching children disobedience is bad parenting! I don't know how the Loveshade Family, which is so concerned with preparing a child for life, can assert a position like this! Is this supposed to be a joke? May God forgive you.

Forgiven.

Say God can I get forgiveness too? I've been just awful. I broke 8 of the 10 commandments. And that's just since yesterday.

Oh God!

They aren't teaching children to be disobedient. Just to stand up for themselves. Kids shouldn't do everything they're told. If they do they get abused.
