13-year-old Alfie is Not the Father
13-year-old Alfie Patten, who got front-page recognition as the father of his 15-year-old girlfriend's baby, is not the father.
While mother Chantelle did apparently did have sex with Alfie when he was 12, she was impregnated when 14 by someone else. DNA tests that were released today, Tuesday, May 19, said the father isn't Alfie. It's apparently a youth who is now 15 years old.
This case has opened a big debate about the virtual lack of sex education in England. The nation has one of the highest teen pregnancy rates in Europe. It seems that kids can learn to do things they aren't taught in a classroom. Who would have thought it?

So how many other guys did she do the deed with before she turned 15? Way to go, girl! But next time try getting some rubber gloves. Not the kind you wear on your hand, but the kind the guy wears on his, you know? Of course maybe you're too young to buy those. You probably are. Selling birth control to 12 and 14 year olds is oh so wrong.

Who's Your Daddy?
I am.

There's two ways to keep kids from having sex.
1) Keep them locked in the closet all their lives. Of course that doesn't always work.
2) Kill them.

What's it all about, Alfie?

It's all right, Alfie. Poor boy needs some reassurance. You've still got several years to become a teen father. Don't give up!

People like to pretend teens and preteens aren't having sex, and won't have sex if they don't learn about it in school. Wake up and take a look at reality. The human race survived for thousands of years before they invented school, and people were having sex right at or even before puberty.
Teach kids to be responsible. Ignorance never works.

Schools and parents should teach responsibility. Let them know the consequences of their actions. Would you keep the dangers of running into the street a secret from your 4 year old? As if they would never think of running if you didn't tell them about it?
