New Hampshire Approves Same-Sex Marriage
New Hampshire is now the sixth American state (if you don't count California) to recognize same-sex marriage.
Legislators approved a law that lets the state join gay-marriage-accepting states Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maine, Vermont and Iowa. California had briefly allowed same-sex marriage, but voters changed the law.
New Hampshire Gov. John Lynch, who opposes gay marriage and had threatened to veto a previous version, none-the-less signed the law. This was after the legislature added a provision that religious organizations would not be forced to officiate or participate in same-sex marriage.
We support both the law and the exception. We believe that consensual marriage should not be illegal, but also believe in the right of a religious group to stand by its beliefs.

Bless the governor for respecting people's wishes even when he disagrees. How long will it be before love is accepted everywhere? Love isn't something you can put a color or age or sex or number to. It ripples like water in a pool, spreading everywhere and touching everyone. It may be a while until that ripple reaches those of us who live in Texas, but it's coming.

TawTew love isn't something you can put a color or sex too. We are to love our neighbors as ourselves, regardless.
But that means the love that comes from God, not the love that comes from the flesh. God intended man and woman to be together. If God wanted homosexuals to marry, then they'd be able to have babies! Sex is to produce children, and also a beautiful expression of the love a man and woman have for each other.
It is simply not possible for two women or two men to have the physical connection God intended. Our bodies aren't built to work that way. It takes one man and one woman to make it work.

Andy, nice love speech. But in case you didn't notice, America practices freedom of religion? If you don't believe in gay marriage, that's your right. But its other people's right to marry who they want.

Homosexuality is an abomination before God. The Bible says those who practice homosexuality shall be put to death.

Yay for New Hampshire. I don't think same sex mairrage should be an issue. Killing gays is both wrong and illegal.

Ignore St. Charles, Vernon. It's just a troll. Don't feed it, eat it!

In New Hampshire, of all places. What's next, New Jersey?

Why is the state in marriage? Why is it governmment at all? Why can't people simply declare themselves married and the bureaucrats stay out of it. Why do we have to legislate love?

Roger, this is not the time to try to be taking power from the federal government. Right now they're gobbling it up like M & Ms.

When I'm purchasing I am thinking about having sex, whenever I'm having sex I am considering shopping.
