Dear Mr Biggles
I did homework and tonight I babysat Randy. Hes 8 years old and hes Jules younger brother. Deacon
Mike and Sister Vicky who are Jules parents gave me their number where they would be and told me I
could eat anything in the frigerator! Jules and his parents went to some kind of farewell dinner or
something. Deacon Mike knows my Daddy. The only think wierd was Jules almost acted like he didnt
know me. I didnt know why cuz hes been real nice to me at school so that was wierd. Oh they gave me
a number to call for someone who could come right over if I had a problem.
It was funny cuz Randy had to show me his boo boo on his knee then wanted me to kiss it! I am not
going to kiss a scap! lol I couldnt let him watch hardly any TV cuz they said a lot of it is bad for him so
he watched this video. It was about Noahs ark. I did homework I finished it! I couldnt believe I could do
it when babysitting but Randy was good and he went to sleep. He wanted me to watch him brush his
teeth so I could see he did a good job then pray with him. That was wierd cuz he prays to Jesus and I
dont so I just let him pray I didnt know what else to do. At least hes 8 so I didnt have to change
diapers or anything I dont even know how! lol I guess I got to learn.
Anyway they came home and I got paid $7.50! Deacon Mike took me home and he gave me $3 more!
He said he thought I did a real good job and should be paid more! So I got $10!

Dear Mr Biggles
I went to church with Jules and Deacon Mike and Sister Vicky and Randy. Oh Jules told me he acted
like he did Saturday cuz his parents didnt like him paying too much attention to girls. That sounded
wierd but I guess my Daddy said something like that too but that didnt mean just talking.
I went to Sunday school and the teacher Sister Priscilla talked about dating and the Bible. Jules kept
looking at me I mean a lot.
Pastor Jay talked about predestination. I dont know if believe in it or not but I didnt like the part about
Jesus dying. I mean Im not a Christian but I think that was a horrible thing to do. I liked some of the
music some of it was fun and people were clapping their hands. But then after church Jules said some
things are meant to be and I dont know what he was talking about.
I ate with them Sister Vicky is a real good cook. Randy wanted to sit next to me that was cute. Hes a
good kid. Oh Sister Vicky sed if I babysit again on Saturday maybe I could spend the night and go to
church with them. Its wierd cuz there so conservative and my parents arent that much but like my
Daddy would never ask a boy to spend the night at our house unless he was Bennys friend! Deacon
Mike took me home I wanted Jules to ride with us but he wouldnt. I dont know this whole thing is really
wierd. I mean there nice so I guess I shouldnt say anything bad. But I like making money!

Dear Mr Biggles
Herbie was being nice to me today. He used to be all the time but hes been like ignoring me. But Jules
was being mean to me! I mean he was picking on me and acting like he hated me! I didnt know what
was going on. I mean what did I do? I was afraid I did something wrong but didnt know what!
Then Becky was being mean too she kept saying I was in love with Harry Potter! I mean I really liked
the movie a lot except the unicorn part but I am NOT in love with Harry Potter!

Dear Mr Biggles
Ok this is getting too wierd. Its like today Jules was being real nice to me and wanting to help me and
asking if I was ok and everything. I think its like he likes me but doesnt want anybody to know it I
guess. But I dont know Im really mixed up! I hope he likes me! I got some good advice about it thanks
Sharon. She says its like he didnt want to let his parents know he likes me cuz they might have some
rules against it. But I dont know why he acted that way yesterday. I guess I got to ask him what I did
but he was nice today! Ok I wont keep talking about it.
Oh Dustin is student of the week! They always have two but I dont know the other one shes not in my
classes. Hes a real good editor. Im supposed to be arts editor but I dont have hardly anything and
Mrs.Hill might be changing it. She said Ill still have something really important to do but they may not
need an arts editor now. I hope its not cuz I really goofed up but I got an A so I dont think I did.
Oh I finished The Last Unicorn today. Its a great book! Its by Peter S Beagle and theres only one
unicorn left only she doesnt really look like a horse shes even more beautiful. Shes both gentle and
powerful. And the wizard is funny. His name is Schmendrick and he tries really hard but he gets his
spells wrong a lot. Molly acts really tough but shes not really. Prince Lir is kind of said cuz he cant
really get what he wants but I wont give that part away.
I dont know about the Red Bull. I mean its like he has all the unicorns trapped but I dont know he was
kind of an exciting character. Its almost like I liked him even though he was the bad guy. He is just so
powerful. There was another bad guy too but I wont tell too much. I think Ill write an essay on it for
English.
I was going to read Harry Potter next but with Becky teasing me I think Ill read something different now.
We read every day at school so I need to pick a new book tomorrow. I used to read more at home but
its like now I mostly just read during our reading time at school and it takes me forever to read a book.
I should read more at home again I dont know why I dont.

Becky said Jules asked her if I like him! So then I said "what did u say" and she said "I told him to ask
u." Like thats going to help!
Mommy was all upset today. She said how come Daddys always working Wednesday nights and isnt
bringing home any more money. She always gets upset and I guess being pregnant makes it worse. I
heard it changes ur mood more than a period. I guess Im lucky I never get real PMS just a little
cramping sometimes but I dont feel much different.

Dear Mr Biggles
Jules gave me a note in class today! It was when Dale was tutoring us and he snuck it to me. I think
Colleen saw but she didnt say anything and I dont think Samuru saw it. I know Dale didnt or he would
take it!
It said "I don't think I can wait til I'm 14." He really said that! I hope he was talking about me! It really
not fair cuz he can date when hes 14 and Daddy says I have to wait until Im 16! I dont think so! I mean
I think Mommy married her first husband when she was 16 and then Benny was born. And Becky was
dating when she was 12. So like why should I wait until then just to date? Lauras Dad is real strict too.
I dont think he ever wants her to date! He wont even let her use the Internet so we cant email.
I hope Jules means me. We like a lot of the same things even though I dont like bullfighting. I think its
cruel but I guess hes been around dead bodies so much it doesnt bother him any.

Somebody stole Elises wallet! Her purse was there but her wallet was gone. I think that is so wrong.
Jules said he has something to tell me on Sunday! Im going to church with his family and I cant wait to

Becky got a babysitting job again! I only got one.
I saw a really good old movie on video with Brandy and Mommy. Its called Labryinth and its about
Sarah whos baby brother is taken by the Goblin King and she has to get him back. She goes with Sir
Didymus Hoggle and Ludo. Its a cool movie and I liked David Bowie who was the Goblin King. He was
kind of scarey but it likes he was real attractive even though he was ugly I dont know how to explain it.
It was funny cuz Mr Biggles was howling like he wanted to be in the movie!

Dear Mr Biggles
Jules asked me to be his girlfriend! I dont believe it! I went to church with him and then they had me
for lunch again and when we were alone he asked me! I didnt know what to say I mean I really like him
but it was a shock! So then Deacon Mike came where we were and I couldnt say anything. And then
he said they really liked me and he hoped I could babysit soon and I was a special blessing! I mean it
was so cool!
So then I didnt have a chance to talk to Jules again cuz Randy was playing around but then right
before I left I saw Jules and I said yes! I have a boyfriend! Jules is so cool too. I mean hes smart and
knows lots of things more than me. And hes good looking too. I dont know why he likes me!
But then Jules just acted like I wasnt nothing to him really when Deacon Mike and Sister Vicky were
there cuz hes not supposed to date until hes 14 and me neither. So we have to keep it a secret I
mean its just like Romeo and Juliet! This is so cool! And when I left everybody gave me a hug but
Jules acted like it wasnt nothing cuz its our special secret! Its so romantic!
Deacon Mike drove me home and he said I was real special. And he gave me a real big hug and really
squeezed me so I think maybe he knows about Jules and me and its cool with him I dont know. Maybe
hes pretending like he doesnt know cuz Sister Vicky wouldnt like it and then hed have to tell her I dont
know. Or maybe he doesnt know. And then he looked me in the eyes and said well have you back
over real soon. It was neat but its like I think he knows something and hes not telling so I think he
knows our secret but hes not telling!

Ok now I have a problem! Jules asked me to the dance on Friday but our coven is meeting for the
new moon! I mean I want to go to both and like I cant tell him about the meeting cuz he doesnt know
Im wiccan! Im afraid hes going to find out cuz then he wont date me no more!

Ok Becky talked to Aunt Eva and she said its not a big meeting anyway and its ok if we go to the
dance! I mean I really love my coven but I got a date with my new boyfriend Jules!
Hes really cool! Its my first real date but we cant tell cuz we arent supposed to date until were older.
Its wierd cuz Herbie hasnt even talked to me much and I thought he would ask me. I mean Im not going
with him hes just a friend but he always asks me to everything. Maybe he knows about me and Jules
already. I wonder if Jules told him? I thought were keeping it a secret but I dont know. I dont know who
Becky is going with she wont tell me.
